Muscle Line's Time-line
(By: Geo)
(This page is the TIME LINE of how things began and went about.
The start of it will be detailed but as the time line progress's
it'll become more plain and simple)
Why I chose the Pitbull breed
Let me start by saying I grew up scared of dogs.
They would chase me when I would get off the school bus on the way home!
Raised in Miami i never really saw many pitbulls, since they are illegal there.
I remember seeing 2 that scared the crap out of me,
I couldn't get near them and i didn't want them near me.
Although i was intimdated by Pitbulls, i always liked their look, body and muscles.
Seeing them on music videos only made me like them more.
I left Miami to become a US Marine in 2002.
I was stationed in Yuma, Arizona in 2004.
When i got back from Iraq in 2005,
I seen some people selling pitbull puppies on the side of the road.
I was shocked because i hadn't seen pitbulls in years and didn't know they were allowed in Arizona.
I pulled over right away and checked them out.
Although i liked them, i wanted something different, something no one else really had.
I searched for a few months trying to find something unique,
but i knew nothing about pitbulls which made it a lilttle harder.
And the story begins......
March 2006
While being temporarily stationed in 29 Palms, California,
I was getting my hair cut and in the barbershop was an add for someone selling Blue Nose pits.
I had never seen one but was very curious and always wanted something "different."
My friend Blanca Hurtado took me to check'em out,
but when we got there he had no blue nose puppies,
only one 8 month old female named BEAR.
Since i was scared of pitbulls & dogs in general, i couldn't get myself close enough to pet her lol.
I can't explain the feeling, but when i saw her there was this "anxiousness" that came over me,
I knew I had to have her, no matter what, she was gonna be mine!
Now let me break things down real quick.
At that point in time, my car wasn't working,
i was dead broke and only recieving $130 paycheck every 2 weeks from the military
due to a pay mix up and I lived on base in the barracks where animals were not allowed,
yet i still had no doubt that she was gonna be mine!
She was grey "blue" with some eyes that just looked demonic depending on the angle you saw her at.
She was not calm, she was very hyper and outgoing!!
A few weeks later i bought her with litterally the last couple hundred dollars i had left.
Everyone at that time called me stupid for spending money on a dog when i didn't have a working car
or money to take care of myself....but to me it didn't matter
and no matter how much i tried to explain to them the passion i had for wanting her,
they still looked at me the same.
Well with the help of a fellow Marine by the name of Brian Novotny
I brought her back to where i was originaly stationed in Yuma, Arizona.
Since i hadn't gotten over my fear, the 3 hour ride back with her in the car was an experience!
Well, I re-named her Asia, she was my first pet, dog, and pitbull !
She would later become known as MY FOUNDATION FEMALE,
and the dog that i began my bloodline with!
These pics were taken a month after bringing her home

July 2006
By now i had started researching dogs on the internet.
I happen to be in Phoenix, Arizona one day with a fellow Marine by the name of Donald Smith.
There was a kennel in Riverside, CA that had a male with an unsual brindle color.
I called the owner of that kennel in Cali and he said he had sold that dog to a guy in Phoenix,
by the name of Chris who owned ShaShank Kennels.
I told him thats perfect because i was in Phoenix for the day,
so he gave me Chris' number and i called him up asking for that dog.
He said he had the dog at his partner Rick's house in Cali.
But he said he had puppies right now from that dog, so i went over to check'em out.
I got there and he had 2 puppies i liked a lot.
We made a deal and i got them both.
I named them Doja & Yeyo.
Heres a pic of them at that moment

While i was there i noticed he had a huge dog in his back yard
but i couldn't see him too good because his curtains were covering the yard.
I asked him if i could see the dog and when he brought him in my jaws dropped.
Before i go further let me explain something.
I was happy with Asia, but as i started to research i realized she was pretty small
compared to how big they got back then.
So Chris is holding this dog by the collar,
and he is the scariest, biggest, and most beautiful Pitbull i had ever seen.
I was litterally amazed!
He said the dog was just over a year old.
He was better looking than any dog i had ever seen in a music video!
I asked if he had any puppies from him yet, he said no.
I told him whenever he had puppies from that dog to call me because i definitly wanted one.
I asked him for the dogs name, and he said Sincere.
This is the pic i took that exact moment while he was holding him!

He also mentioned that Sincere's father,
who was owned by the famous Richard Barajas is thee "Notorious Juan Gotti"
for those who don't know who Gotti was, he was the most famous pitbull to ever live
and he is the dog they based the GOTTI BLOODLINE behind.
Gotti sadly passed away in 2007 at the age of 8 yrs old.
They held a HUGE memorial for him in Corona, California
where people from all over the USA attended, as did i.

I couldn't leave his house because i wasn't sure if i could find a home to put my 2 new puppies at.
It was getting late and i figured i'd find a way to deal with it once i got back to Yuma, Arizona.
Well i couldn't come up with anything so i had to sneak the puppies onto base
and into my barracks room.
I hid the puppies in my bathroom when i went to work the next day.
I spent my lunch with them taking care of them.
After work i realized i couldn't do that and i didn't wanna get caught.
So i found a guy that i didn't know, that lived 2 houses down from where i was keeping Asia at,
and i asked him if i could keep the 2 puppies there until i found a new place to take them.
He said no.
I told him i would buy their dog food and give him $50 a month for holding them there.
He agreed and i was happy to find my new puppies a home.
This a pic of my new puppies playing with the guy who housed them and his dog

Asia meets Yeyo

November 2006
Before i go into November, i wanna go a few months back, no exact month.
I found a brown red-nose adult female in someones back yard one day,
the body she had and the look she had was very different,
she had more of that old original pitbull look.
Seeing her walk around her yard was something to see.
She had a certain swagger i hadn't seen in a female before, she definitely caught my eye.
I went around and knocked on her owners door whom i had never met.
I asked them if they were willing to sell their dog, of course they said no lol.
They said i was more than welcomed to see her though.
Her name was Mocha and she was an extremely happy dog.
Her butt seemed like a seperate part of her body since she would swing it rapidly and strongly
from side to side if u got near her because she was happy to be petted.
As the weeks passed, i kept coming by and offering Mocha's owners to buy her from them.
The answer was always no.
A few more weeks passed and i came back still offering to buy her from them.
They said to me, "You know what, we can tell you really want her.
We're going through some tough times right now.
You can take her for free, and the money you want to give us for her, spend it on her."
So, thats exactly what i did.
I was very thankful and told them if she ever had puppies i would bring them back one.
Heres a pic of Mocha's face

And this is her muscular body

Ok now onto Novermber.
Sincere had his first litter and i went to choose my puppy like i said i would.
I wanted a girl and there was a few to choose from.
The pup that ended up catching my eye looked like it was "the runt" (smallest) of the litter,
but her color, markings, and muscle was unique.
At her young age you could see her muscles more than the rest, so shes the one i chose.
Heres a pic of her next to her sisters. (shes on the left)

I spent some time thinking of a name and finally came up with Alize.
Here she is a few weeks after i got her.

By now Doja had grown and this is her playing with Alize

Yeyo as well had grown a lot and this is him playing with Alize

So I'm looking outside one day at my back yard,
and it hit me, what am i gonna do with all these dogs?
I went pitbull crazy and got all different types of pits with different colors.
So i'm thinking and thinking and thinking......
until this thought came to my mind, "Maybe i can be a breeder"
When i started purchasing these dogs it was based on something i wanted,
not based on me wanting to breed or sell puppies.
I started doing some research and began convincing myself that maybe i could really do it.
It was right at that moment that my eyes opened and things seemed more clear,
I had a new hobby and a goal to strive to accomplish.
The start of "928 Kennels" begins......
February 2007
I needed a kennel name to start my website and advertising of dogs,
so i came up with "928 Kennels" which i found to be simple and easy to remember.
I knew i would change it later as it was just a temporary name, something to start with.
Well i headed to Chris' house since Asia was ready to breed.
I took her to the male that i originally found perfect, which was Sincere.
This a pic from that event, which is also the first time they met.
As you can see Asia was a VERY small female
Sincere (left) Asia (right)
This is what Asia & Sincere created a few months later

Mommy with her puppies

Socializing the puppies with our kids

The main puppy that obviously stuck out because of his color was Rio.
Rio also happen to grow extremely fast.
I wanted to keep him but i found someone who wanted him as much as i did
and was able to give him a better home and more attention.
So i sold Rio on a co-own to Jason Munoz.
As time went by Jason would bring Rio over a lot
and he was bigger and bigger everytime.
Rio at almost 2 and a half months old

4 months later this was Rio next to his mom Asia

A better pic of Rio that same night,
pretty nice muscle for a 6 month old puppy i would say

Rio was almost his daddy Sincere's size at 6 months.....but then he just stopped growing.
Jason and I shared the same vision and goals when it came to pitbulls.
So we teamed up together as business partners and ran 928 Kennels together.
Stayed tuned for the next update.....
